FAQ’s

Who can have orthodontic treatment?
There is no age limit to receive orthodontic treatment and the treatment of adults is becoming easier and easier thanks to improvements in new technology.

What will happen at my first appointment?
Patients will be asked to complete three forms including a medical history form. We therefore request that you arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment.

The patient will be examined by one of our specialist orthodontists and full records will be taken.  This will include clinical photographs, study models and radiographs.  The orthodontist will listen to your concerns about your teeth and in conjunction with the full records will be able to provide a personalised treatment plan for you.

How long will the treatment take?
This all depends on the individual and the orthodontic appliance you are wearing.  Simple cases can be as rapid as 6 months. More complex treatments can take 2-3 years. During your initial consultation you will be provided with an estimation of your particular treatment's duration.
