Julie Clark - Practice manager Julie is our invaluable practice manager and has worked with us since September 2009. Julie's role is to support our team and to ensure that quality of care is continuous throughout your patient journey. Please contact Julie if you have any comments or suggestions about your visits. Our four orthodontic nurses play a crucial role assisting the orthodontists throughout orthodontic treatment. As orthodontics is a specialist area within dentistry, all our nurses have to come to us with many years' experience and are fully registered with the GDC. In addition, many also hold extra qualifications to enable them to carry out their role within Lincoln Orthodontics. Our nurses are a lively, happy team and we hope that throughout your treatment with us you will get to know them well as they provide support and care to you during your visits. Vicky Ison - Clinic co-ordinator Vicky joined Lincoln Orthodontics as an orthodontic nurse in November 2006. She now holds the role of clinic co-ordinator and ensures the smooth running of all our clinics. She makes sure the dental team are fully trained and as our infection control link with the PCT, Vicky makes sure our infection control systems are of the highest standard. In addition to these roles, Vicky has also attained her oral health educator certificate with merit and is qualified in dental radiography. Alison Humphreys - Orthodontic nurse Having worked in the dental profession for 15 years, Alison joined Lincoln Orthodontics in September 2007. She is one of the few nurses in the country who is calibrated in the use of PAR index. This is a nationally recognised qualification enabling Alison to assess the quality of our treatment finishes. Kerryl Chadwick - Orthodontic nurse Kerryl joined Lincoln Orthodontics in November 2010 and has 13 years of experience working in the dental profession. Kerryl's accumulated skills include paediatric dentistry and work in special needs dental clinics. Kerryl is the designated first aider at Lincoln Orthodontics and is also qualified in dental radiography. Jemma Fletcher - Orthodontic nurse Jemma has 12 years of dental nursing and joined our team in April 2011. In her previous position Jemma was infection control liaison and these skills have transferred well to Lincoln Orthodontics. As the newest member of the team, Jemma has taken to her role with enthusiasm. Beth Smith - Decontamination technician Beth joined the team in August 2010. Beth's role is to ensure that all the equipment and tools used within the surgeries are cleaned and sterilised after every use. Beth has undergone further training in decontamination of dental equipment, in line with the requirements of the Care Quality Commission. Reception team Your first point of contact with the practice will be with our reception team which has been chosen for its efficiency and friendly manner. We have two receptionists and a treatment co-ordinator. Whether you are a new or an existing patient, our reception team will be there to help you with bookings and to make you feel welcome as you arrive for your appointments. Ann-Marie Cox - Senior receptionist Ann-Marie has been with the practice since October 2007 and is now our senior receptionist. Her role consists of administration duties, helping with the management of our new patients and over-seeing the reception area. She has a wonderful, bubbly personality, which you will hear when talking to her on the telephone. Ann-Marie's accumulated knowledge and experience helps her to be a valuable source of information and advice to our patients. Jayne Stafford - Receptionist Jayne has been with Lincoln Orthodontics since October 2008. She has a special ability to quickly remember names and faces, making our patients feel special, which they are. Jayne will greet you with a smile on your arrival and help you with your future bookings. Helen Dalton - Treatment co-ordinator Your initial appointments with the practice will also be with our treatment co-ordinator. Helen joined the team in April 2011 and it is her role to advise patients on our range of treatment and financial options. She will guide you through those early days, providing information and support. |
